It was great to be back on campus at DePaul Driehaus College of Business! Margaret Tower, Accounting Professor extraordinaire, leads a workshop where employers have an opportunity to meet Accounting students who have transferred into DePaul University from local community colleges. Sarah Lang represented the Accounting team for Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling. Together we answered the students’ questions about our company history, company culture, career paths, the difference between Public and Corporate/Private Accounting, daily activities and projects that Accounting Interns and Staff Accountants work on, benefits and work/life balance. Summer Placher, Alexander Henricksen , Vidhi Mehta and Luis Contreras joined us for lunch at the end of the workshop. They had an opportunity to sample some Coca-Cola beverages, such as the new Fanta Haunted Apple flavor, Monster Energy Ultra and Topo Chico Sabores. Whenever I have the opportunity to be on campus along with recruiting great Accounting students for our Internship Program and entry-level Staff Accountant positions, I do my best to enlist new Coca-Cola Brand Ambassadors! Professor Tower knows that I will always have an ice cold Diet co*ke for her. She is a lifelong Brand Ambassador for Diet co*ke. Looking forward to returning to DePaul Driehaus College of Business on Wednesday, September 11 from 1 to 4 pm on the eighth floor for a meet and greet table with DePaul graduate and Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling Senior Accountant, Hannah Abuzir.
